Description
What it is. Dried product obtained from potato starch factories, consisting essentially of protein substances separated during starch extraction. It results from a drying process applied to the protein fraction left after starch removal.
What it is for. Used as a protein source in compound feed formulation, mainly for monogastric species. It is generally used to provide a concentrated protein contribution and to support amino acid balance in rations where high-protein raw materials are needed. Crude protein is the constituent to be declared on the label.
